Christian healing center and how I got there

I want to let everyone know that the 3-day prayer intensive healing retreat I went to is open to any believer.  The Christian Healing Center is a non-denominational nonprofit organization, that does not charge for their services.  They rely on donations, regular supporters, and the (physically) local church for support.  I can’t emphasize enough how life transforming those three days were for me, and continue to be.  If you know anyone in need of inner (soul) healing, I highly encourage you to give them this info.  The ministry website is here:

Here is how I came to the 3-day prayer retreat.  I hope you can see God’s fingerprints all over this.  As I started to look for a place I might stay temporarily (after the divorce decision), I reached out to a few people to see if they might know anyone would could take a border for awhile.  One of those folks told me Suzanne and I needed to be in couples spiritual counseling.  I told him  that wasn’t really an option.  He then invited me to a Bible study, which happened to be titled that week “Victory in Jesus.”  Let me tell you I was not feeling any victory that day, at all.  This fellow’s goal was to get me in touch with someone he thought could do this counseling.

I talked with this fellow afterward, and in the course of things he told me how he is involved with a ministry that does intensive healing prayer ministry.  Ordinarily, I’d have to wait a few months to have an open slot, but “it just so happens” they had some cancellations and that if I could complete the application in two days, I would be able to attend the following week.  Well, I could feel God’s hand pushing me through this door He’s opening, so I did the application and attended that next week.
